We’re a Green Smoothie household now!
Two years ago, my in-laws got DH (Dear Husband) and I a really nice blender. It’s seen frappuccinos. It’s seen blended chai. It’s seen tortilla soup and it’s seen it’s share of frozen fruit mixes (not just margaritas either). Well recently I’ve been on a raw food kick. My kids are helping me like more veggies. (Yes you heard right.) My older DD (Darling Daughter) eats stuff I use to avoid: carrots, cucumbers, sprouts, alfalfa, radishes…and all without dressing or dip. (Yes I’m extremely lucky.) So I’ve been re-trying all of my avoidances and learning to like them.
Somehow an online uncook book found it’s way to my desktop and my fancy dancy blender has been getting a great work out. Strawberry banana smoothies, strawberry kiwi smoothies, cherry watermelon smoothies, celery, spinach, banana blueberry smoothies! No really! Who would have thought that the green stuff could go so well with the fruity stuff? Not me. So I took a picture of one satisfied customer with a green smoothie smile…that’s my girl!
